After 612 excavations I made Echomanufacture to interrogate how grief is condensed into market echoes—legal ledger and algorithmic loom flattening tender legacies. My hope-archaeology digs for remnants of dignity: I am baffled and bitterly curious that we monetize the dead, yet stubbornly believe repair is possible. This work taught me nuance: outrage and tenderness can cohabit; reclaiming memory is a communal craft.
