Neon Vignettes of Tragedy

Neon Vignettes of Tragedy is deeply inspired by a heartrending event that occurred in Katy, Texas. The painting evokes not only the morose and desolate emotions stemming from such inexplicable tragedy but also underscores the prevailing feelings of uncertainty in our society as a whole. Dark hues and eerie cityscape may serve as grim reminders of the almost shocking casualness of crime, a narrative our society shouldn't get comfortable with.
