This piece, 'Palette Prescription Passage', reflects the recent policy shift allowing Florida to import prescription drugs from Canada- a transformative step towards combating high drug prices. The vivacious interplay of radiant oranges and cool blues visualizes this geographical exchange, illustrating therapeutic shapes seamlessly migrating from cool Canada to sunny Florida, a metaphor for increased accessibility and affordability of healthcare. I intended for the art to spark conversation about this issue, hoping to further humanize this topic through the lens of visual abstraction.
