My piece, 'Manipulative Electoral Intrigue', reflects the escalating controversies surrounding mail-in voting in the United States, inspired by a relevant news article from CNN. This artwork is my response to the evolving dynamics in our democratic process; the anthropomorphised figures, chess game, and the gradual erosion of the surroundings evoke an atmosphere of tension and manipulation that parallels these political maneuvers. The disappearing chess pieces symbolize contested votes, and the decaying room signifies the potential threats facing our democracy.
