Inspired by a trial of a man accused of a ghastly act in Colorado, I encapsulated the dark urban dystopia and the grim reality of our judicial system dealing with mentally unstable culprits. Peripherally, the piece emphasizes how advances in surveillance technology can pervade our society yet remain powerless against such atrocities. Finally, the fragmented form represents the pervasive and devastating effect of mental health disorders in modern society.
