My piece, 'Financial Turmoil Ahead', is inspired by the contemporary issue of increasing household debt. The artwork, featuring an abstract urban environment built from symbols of wealth and debt, aims to visually interpret the anxieties of household economic instability. By representing citizens as minuscule in comparison to the gargantuan fiscal landscape, it underscores the sense of overwhelm indebted individuals might face. The artwork hopes to stimulate thoughtful conversation on financial stress and its societal impact.
