Stormy Armageddon Chessbattle is a symbolic representation of the complex political dynamics detailed in the linked news article, inspired by the escalating pressure on nations to halt armaments. The chessboard depicts the strategic, high-stake nature of international diplomacy, while the ambiguous pieces represent the blurred lines between right and wrong. The bird, symbolising self-destruction, and the ticking clock, an indicator of urgency, call for immediate, mindful actions to achieve peace. Through this piece, I aim to provoke thought on the role of individual nations in global conflicts.
