My piece, 'Guardian of Hope', was inspired by a tragic news article. It depicts the courage inherent in the human spirit, regardless of age. It honours the bravery of an 11-year-old defending his mother, a testament to love's strength even in the face of violence. The diverse characters symbolise unity, affirming that violence is not confined to race or location. The menacing cityscape signifies the persistent threat of urban violence. I hope this piece prompts conversations about safety and humanity in our society.
